The Team
Patrick Knapp served as a U.S. Army paratrooper from 2012 to 2017, including service with the 82nd Airborne Division. The discipline, precision, and mission-first mindset forged in military service carried directly into his approach to construction — where doing the job right the first time isn't optional, it's the standard.
After leaving the Army, Patrick built Knapp Construction from the ground up, applying military-level attention to detail to every project — from complex water and fire restorations to fully custom new construction homes.
Harmony Knapp is Patrick's partner in business and in life. As the listing agent and co-founder of Knapp Construction, Harmony brings deep market knowledge, a client-first approach, and a refined eye for design to every transaction.
Harmony serves as the bridge between the build side and the buyer experience — ensuring that every client not only gets a superbly constructed home, but that the entire process feels transparent, supported, and exciting from contract to close.

Having worked in water and fire restoration, we've seen firsthand what happens when builders skip steps. Our builds are designed from the ground up to prevent the failures others fix later — from moisture barriers to drainage to mechanical placement.
We use copper stub-outs, 2×6 framing, Superior Wall foundations, and lifetime-warranty products not because we have to — but because we won't put our name on anything less. Every decision is made as if we're building it for our own family.
Knapp Construction is a small, family-run team with deep roots in the Durham community. We're not a volume builder. We're your builder — and we treat every home and every client relationship with that same personal commitment.
